Richmond Police have charged a suspect in a Richmond apartment complex shooting Thursday.
Jawan Lee, 21, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, both felonies.
Police say Lee shot a 30-year-old man at the Woodland Crossing apartment complex in the 3400 block of Walmsley Boulevard around 3:43 p.m. Thursday. Detectives say Lee then ran off, but was caught near the scene with the help of Chesterfield Police.
The victim remains in critical condition at VCU Medical Center.
