There is new information on the controversy surrounding the future of the National Slavery Museum.
The free lance star reports that the museum has hired Henrico Delegate Joe Morrisey as their attorney. A judge recently opened the door for the city of Fredericksburg to sell this land at auction, because the museum hasn't paid its taxes in years.
The city claims it is owed, more than $330,000.
A hearing is scheduled for Monday on this case, but the Fredericksburg paper reports that Morrisey is asking a judge to delay that hearing.
