A suspect in a triple homicide may not stand trial, due to his mental competency.
Wednesday's winter weather forced the rescheduling of a court hearing for Herbert Bland Jr., but now the suspect may not be heading to trial any time soon.
According to the Richmond Times Dispatch, Bland will likely be going to a state hospital because he's been deemed mentally incompetent to stand trial.
Police say Bland killed his girlfriend and her mother in Chesterfield, and then killed his father in Dinwiddie County.
