A 32,000 square foot Goochland mansion, known as "The Castle" will be turned into a venue for weddings and other paid events.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that all county supervisors approved the plans, despite two dozen people against the plan, because of the effect the home would have on traffic near Manakin Road.
The paper reports that supervisors agreed to approve the project if the homeowner of The Castle conducted a traffic study and make any changes within six months, depending on the results of the study.
