Gloucester couple accused of keeping child in cage pleads guilty

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

The couple accused of keeping their daughter in a make-shift cage plead guilty to felony abuse charges.

Police say Brian and Shannon Gore's daughter was 6 when sheriff's deputies found her in 2011, while investigating a burglary report. The child was naked, starving and covered in her own waste.

The couple will be sentenced in June.
