A Chesterfield Community will speak out to stop, what they believe is hazardous material getting shipped into the county.
Operators of the Skinquarter Landfill want to bring in fly ash and fluff. That's basically a coal byproduct, and the fluff is residue from car parts.
Some people living in the area fear it could leak into the ground or blow into the air.
More than 500 parents of nearby Grange Hall Elementary have signed an online petition against the material. There will be a community meeting at the school Tuesday at 7 p.m.
