Dog found and rescued after car crash in Emporia

EMPORIA, VA (WWBT) -

A dog set to be put down has a home in North Carolina after surviving a car crash, and 24 days lost in Virginia.

Felix, a beagle-German shepherd mix, was ejected from a van during a crash on I-95 in Emporia.

A network of animal lovers in North Carolina and Virginia worked together to search for Felix, who was found last week.

He's now at home with his new family.
