CAMILLA, GA (WALB) -

The Westwood Wildcats have lost the GISA Class A state championship game to Crisp Academy the last two years.

The Lady Wildcats have moved up to AA this season and are back in the final four for a third straight year.

The talent level in AA is just as tough as  A.

Westwood will play the defending state champion Gatewood Lady Gators in the first GISA AA semifinal Thursday at Mercer University in Macon.

The Lady Wildcats are planning to stick with what got them to Macon.

"We are continuing to work on the things we do.  We are not concerned about changing the style of play we have as much as cleaning up some of the small problems we have had in the last few days in the tournament.  Playing our basketball, " said head coach Jenny Smith.

"Everybody on our team contributes. somebody coming off the bench will have one of the best games over a starter. It is definitely a team effort," said Ivy Foister.

Westwood will play Gatewood at 4:00 p.m. Thursday.

Terrell Academy will play Arlington Christian at 5:30 p.m. in the other AA semifinal.
