Chesterfield budget vote could include 2% raise for employees

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

The Chesterfield County School Board is expected to vote on a budget Tuesday night.

The plan calls for a roughly 2% raise for all school employees, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Chesterfield school leaders are not expecting any drastic cuts like in recent years.

Tuesday's vote is happening at 6:30 p.m. during the school board meeting.
