It's a school safety shakeup after a teen manages to get a gun inside a Richmond High School. Police say an 18-year-old had a hand gun during a fight with another student Friday. John Marshall High School went on Code Red Lockdown. This morning we are investigating how the gun got through the North Richmond School's metal detector and what the school is doing about the situation.
Plus, drastic cuts could be on the way for Richmond Public Schools. The Richmond School Board is considering layoffs and even closing more schools to fill the remaining 3 million dollar shortfall.
