
The town of Elkton is taking action to battle a growing sewage problem.
Officials in the Shenandoah-area town are asking neighbors to be more careful about what they flush down the toilet.
Wastewater crews say they are finding mop heads, adult diapers, towels and other unusual items clogging both of the town's sewage pumps.
