FRANKLIN, VA (WWBT) -
A Virginia elementary school teacher and the school's nurse are both charged in a murder for hire plot.
Virginia State Police say that 47-year-old Angela Nolen gave an undercover agent $4,000 and promised to double that figure, if he'd kill her 63-year-old husband.
The Franklin County teacher allegedly brought in the school nurse - 37-year-old Cathy Bennett - to help her find the supposed hitman. She's charged with being an accessory.
Both are being held without bond.
