A Chesterfield man goes to court Wednesday to face animal cruelty charges for allowing his dog to die of starvation.
An NBC12 viewer called concerned her neighbor's dog was going to die if someone didn't help. When NBC12 crews arrived they found Boe the dog starved.
The neighbor, Ashley Baker, sent photos of the dog looking dangerously thin with his rib cage showing and she said he was suffering. She fed him when her neighbor did not, but couldn't save Boe's life.
While she was sobbing, Boe's owner, Carroll Dyke, said he knew Boe was suffering, but it didn't really matter to him.
Carroll Dyke will in court at 1 p.m.
