One-day technical workshop on March 7, examines how to effectively deliver business capabilities to enterprise customers, partners and suppliers using WSO2 API Manager
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) February 19, 2013
Today, managed APIs are central to effective enterprise service-oriented architecture (SOA) strategies for extending business processes and services to customers, partners, and other groups in an organization. The success of these managed APIs is tied to the development of a sound API “ecosystem” that relies on several key factors and players, including creators, publishers, developers and users. WSO2 will address strategies and best practices for API creators in the workshop, “Practical Guide to API Management.” The event will be held on Thursday, March 7, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., in New York. To register, visit http://wso2.com/events/workshops/2013-march-new-york-practical-guide-to-api-management.
The hands-on workshop will provide a practical guide to managed APIs that are advertised and available for developers to find, understand and subscribe to; secured for authenticated and authorized access; managed to ensure a well-defined level of service to applications; and monitored for usage, success, performance and other critical measurements for guiding business decisions and actions. The session also will examine how WSO2 API Manager, the first 100% open source API management product, is designed to fully support a vibrant API ecosystem that successfully delivers business capabilities to customers, partners and suppliers.
Key topics will include:
