The Richmond School Board has been given an extension to determine its budget.
School administrators were suppose to have the proposal ready by Tuesday, but they asked City Council and the Mayor for an extension.
Leaders are hoping to come up with a plan to deal with an $11 million shortfall. Now they have until later this month to figure it out. The budget proposal is now due March 1.
