All four number one seeds were among the winners in Monday's Central Region tournament first round boys action.  The winners of Monday's games move on to Tuesday's quarterfinals.

Douglas Freeman 62, Hopewell 46

L.C. Bird 95, Hanover 65

Matoaca 68, Hermitage 65

Armstrong 67, Cosby 51
