Two teenage girls were hit by a truck in eastern Henrico Friday night near the Richmond airport.
Police responded to Beulah Road between Virginia Avenue and East Williamsburg Road around 6:30 p.m. They say a pickup truck hit the girls as they tried to cross the road in a dimly lit area.
The girls were taken to VCU Medical Center and are going to be okay.
The driver stayed on the scene and has not been charged. Police say alcohol and speed were not factors.
