FREDERICKSBURG, VA (WWBT) -

A Fredericksburg couple claimed the $217 million Powerball jackpot Thursday.

Dave and Nancy Honeywell will take home a lump-sum of $136.4 million in the second largest jackpot in Virginia history. Dave purchased the ticket at Richmond International Airport for the February 6 drawing on his way out of town on a business trip.

The couple works at the Department of Defense and says they will continue to work at their jobs, despite their new status as multi-millionaires.

The ticket was purchased at a kiosk using the easy pick feature, which randomly selects numbers.
