A family of five escaped a massive fire at their Chesterfield home early Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out on the 6000 block of Walking Path Road in the Cameron Bay neighborhood, right across from Manchester High School.
Fire officials quickly put out the fire, but then it flared up again. Most of the flames came from the second floor.
Chesterfield officials said all the members of the family got out before the flames engulfed the house including three children under the age of 17.
None of the surrounding homes damaged.
