Tom Hanks narrates the story, which is based on the best-selling book, Killing Lincoln by Bill O'Reilly.
The book depicts the life of the man who assassinated the president, John Wilkes Booth.
National Geographic Channel is behind the project.
It premieres Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Carpenter Theatre at Centerstage.
