RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

We have finally seen the sun, but in Richmond, Lauren Richardson is seeing cases of seasonal effective disorder.

It can occur during the winter months.

It most commonly affects women and young adults ages 20-30 years.

Symptoms include fatigue, weight gain and irritability.
