A pedestrian is fighting for his life, after he was hit and carried 50 feet by an SUV in Henrico Thursday night.
The man was reportedly on the hood of the Jeep Cherokee for about 50 feet before he fell off. It happened on Harvie Road at Reynolds Road.
Harvie road closed around 9:00 p.m. Thursday night, and reopened shortly after.
Lieutenant Scott Jones of Henrico Police said weather was most likely a factor.@
An ambulance rushed the victim to VCU Medical Center. Neither his age nor condition has been revealed as of yet.
It's going to be up to the Henrico crash team to decide whether to charge the driver. The car was going towards the city, and as of now is not a hit and run situation.
