Randy Blythe's trial has been postponed until March.
The court is telling newspapers in Prague it need to delay the trial to gather more evidence.
Blythe is the lead singer of Richmond-based metal band Lamb of God. He faces 5-10 years in prison if convicted in the 2010 death of a 19-year-old fan.
Blythe claims he is innocent.
