Albany Tech holds on for key win

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Tech snaps a three game losing streak by defeating Central Georgia Tech 67-66 at Albany State's HPER Gym on Wednesday.

The Titans built an early lead and head coach Sylvester Patterson said his team held on to get the narrow win.

The Albany Tech women knocked off Central Georgia Tech 61-57.

Albany Tech will host Middle Georgia on Saturday.

Darton wins big at South Georgia Tech 64-44.

The DC win along with Albany Tech's win gives the first place Lady Cavaliers a two-game lead in the GCAA standings.

Also in Americus, Gordon defeats South Georgia Tech 79-77 in overtime.

It is the Jets fourth overtime loss this season.

South Georgia Tech hosts Chattahoochee Tech at The Hangar on Saturday.
