CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -
A Chesterfield boy is charged with having a weapon on school grounds.
An 11-year-old boy brought a knife to Chesterfield's Bensley Elementary School in mid-January. Chesterfield Police say the incident was not reported until this week.
We're told the knife fell out of the child's bag while he was in class. He did not threaten anyone with it.
