NBC12 is renewing its efforts to keep you informed about what's going on around Central Virginia.

Karla Redditte is helping relaunch 12 About Town on-air. From festivals to concerts to arts, we'll cover the best entertainment in your neighborhood.

We want your help finding the biggest events and the hidden gems around the area. Email your submissions to 12AboutTown@nbc12.com, so we can add them to our calendar.

Then watch 12News at 5:30 to see what's happening in our 12 About Town segments.

12 About Town will get a new look online in the next month, as well, with a new calendar, more event videos and a new mobile-friendly interface.
