RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
Some neighbors in Richmond and Chesterfield are pushing for a new YMCA in the shopping center across the old site of Cloverleaf Mall.
According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, only a handful of people showed up to a community meeting to discuss adding a YMCA to area of Midlothian Turnpike and Chippenham Parkway.
Organizers would like to replace the old Best store with a new YMCA. That shopping center is already seeing some changes.
A Panera store, and a restaurant are already under construction.
