Attempted armed robbery outside fast food restaurant

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Tyler Police are investigating an aggravated robbery, after a man tried to rob a fast food restaurant at gunpoint.

According to a police report, officers were called to the Jucy's Hamburgers at 2330 E. Fifth Street on an aggravated robbery call. The victim, an employee of Jucy's, said he was met at the door by a man holding a gun. The victim said he shut the front door and ran back inside the building, and the man with the gun ran away as well.

The report describes the suspect as 5'10" to 6" tall with a slim build, wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt.

If you have any information about the suspects involved in this crime are urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).  Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
