Ex-teacher aide accused of assaulting Chesterfield child in court

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

The former teacher aide convicted of assaulting a Chesterfield child with autism is back in court on Wednesday.

A judge is expected to rule on Jan Costley's appeal at 1 p.m.

Surveillance video showed Costley yanking on the Matoaca Middle School girl's arms. Costley was fired by Chesterfield schools.
