Suspect in triple murder expected in Chesterfield court

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

The man accused of a triple murder in Chesterfield and Dinwiddie is expected in court Tuesday morning.

Herbert Bland, Jr. is scheduled to be in Chesterfield court at 11 Tuesday morning.

You may recall this investigation started when a UPS driver delivered a package to a home on River Road, and found a female body lying on the floor in pool of blood.

Police say Bland shot and killed his girlfriend and her mother in Chesterfield before killing his father in Dinwiddie County.
