HOPEWELL, VA (WWBT) -
The man charged in the shooting at a veterans lodge in Hopewell will be in a courtroom Monday morning.
Police say 20-year-old Kentrell Butts opened fire on Jacory Moore last December in the Veterans of Foreign Wars parking lot.
Neighbors say this particular VFW on Winston Churchill Drive has been known for trouble in the past.
Butts is facing a list of charges, including aggravated malicious wounding. His court date is at 10 a.m.
