VDOT warns drivers to be careful on roads

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Snow is causing delays and closings in the Central Virginia area. VDOT says pavement is below freezing, and averaging at 29 degrees.

Crews pre-treated bridges and overpasses in anticipation of the snow, and crews will be roving to ensure the roads stay in good shape.

Snow is sticking to roads in Goochland and the airport.
