Apartment fire displaces nearly two dozen in Petersburg

PETERSBURG, VA (WWBT) -

Nearly two dozen people are waking up without a home in Petersburg following an apartment fire.

This all started due to a kitchen fire that happened on the second floor of the Lafayette House Apartments.

There are no injuries and the Red Cross is assisting these victims while investigators work to determine a cause.
