As we get ready for Monday's Presidential Inauguration, there's a group of people from Richmond that woke up early to see the ceremony.
Three buses left early Monday morning to attend the event. 200 people showed up at the Fairfield Commons Mall here in Henrico. They all signed up on the website obamabus.com. For $65, they have a round trip ticket to history in the making.
This was all organized by Richmond D.J. Danja Mouf and musician James Plunky Branch. They started the bus idea in 2009, and it was so successful, they brought it back for this year.
The three buses arrive at RFK Stadium, and then everyone has to walk from there to the National Mall. To find a spot, that could be a two mile walk.
The buses then leave at 2 p.m., but everyone said this would all be worth it.
