Staying Safe in Snowy Conditions

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

We may have escaped our first brush with winter weather. But that doesn't mean it won't pop up again.

Dr. Sheila Clasbey is warning her patients about snow dangers.

The simple act of shoveling can lead to pulled muscles and even heart attacks.

If you don't work out vigorously and regularly, either let the snow melt or get someone else to do it.

If you have chest pains or extreme shortness of breath or if you fall and have injury call 911.
