RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
Virginia's unemployment rate in December is the lowest jobless number in four years.
At 5.5%, last month was down just a fraction from November, but still good enough to make it the third consecutive month that joblessness has declined.
The state's overall unemployment rate is below the national average of 7.8%.
