RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
A man will spend the rest of his life in prison for a deadly shooting at Richmond's Veterans Hospital.
That was the sentence handed down in federal court Friday for Cornelius Hayes.
Hayes pled guilty to using a firearm in a violent crime causing the death of another person.
Court documents show that Hayes admitted to killing James Lee in the parking lot of McGuire VA Medical Center last February.
