Two girls now have a new puppy, with the help of 1 million friends on Facebook.
After losing their beloved family pet a few months ago, two girls wanted a new puppy. However, their parents were reluctant. After seeing a brother and sister post a picture on Facebook saying their dad would get them a dog if they got a ton of likes, they decided to try a similar tactic with their own father.
His challenge: get 1 million likes on Facebook and the puppy will be all yours.
The post went viral and within hours they had reached their goal. Thursday night they posted a picture of Millie, a rescue dog who now has a forever home and a million likes.
