New this morning, two people are dead after a shooting on a community college campus in Kentucky. Plus, two people are in serious condition this morning after a shooting in a St. Louis business school.
Also breaking, a plane crash in London. Police say two people were killed when a helicopter crashed during rush hour in central London after apparently hitting a construction crane on top of a building. The helicopter crashed just south of the River Thames near the Underground and mainline train station at Vauxhall, and the British spy agency MI6.
Happening in the day ahead -- the White House release its recommendations to reduce gun violence in the country. President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will unveil the proposals during an event at the White House.
Also, the gun control debate heats up in Richmond today. Two democrats introduce a bill tightening restrictions on gun sales to the mentally ill. They also want background checks for purchases at gun shows.
This morning, we are tracking the Flu. So far, at least 20-children are reported to have died so far this winter from Influenza. But it's too early to tell if the rate is higher than a typical year -- in which 100 children die by the end of Flu Season.
