Surveillance photos of Stony Point Mall robbers released

RICHMOND (WWBT) -- Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public's help to identify the men responsible for stealing several handbags from Saks Fifth Avenue this past weekend at Stony Point Fashion Mall.

From a Richmond Police Dept. press release, at approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, seven black males between the ages of 25 and 35 entered the store at 9214 Stony Point Parkway and stole several Gucci and Chanel bags. They then fled the scene in a white, four-door late 1990s or early 2000 sedan. 

Anyone with any information about this crime is asked to call Third Precinct Detective Charles Kane at (804) 646-1069 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers anonymously by texting 274637, using the key word "ITip" followed by your tip.
