Students at L. C. Bird High School are back in their school building after being relocated to Chesterfield Tech Center due to a bomb threat Tuesday morning.
An unidentified caller phoned in a bomb threat to the school, according to Chesterfield Police. Bomb-sniffing dogs from the Virginia State Police are now searching the school. However, they found no indication that there were any explosives at the school.
Students and staff were moved to the Chesterfield Technical Center and Gates Elementary for about 90 minutes.
Parents were called by the principal twice with updates, according to a Chesterfield Schools spokesman.
Students were able to return to class shortly after 11 a.m.
