LONDON (WWBT) -- "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July," read the simple statement, released by the Palace at 11 a.m. London time Monday.
A source at the Palace confirms Kate is not expecting twins. The source adds that the couple will not be revealing the sex of the baby.
"The Duchess's condition continues to improve since her stay in hospital last month," the statement also said. Kate went in for treatment in early December for severe morning sickness.
A July arrival would allow the baby to share the same birth month as William's late mother Diana, Princess of Wales, who was born on July 1.
