RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
Richmond Police told NBC12 a shooting in the city's East End on Sunday appears to be accidental.
According to police, a child accidentally got their hands on a loaded gun that was left sitting out in a home in the 2300 block of Whitcomb Street.
The victim, a man in his 50's, is a relative of the child. Police told NBC12 late Sunday night, that man has life-threatening injuries at VCU Medical Center.
