Beachfront complex burns to ground in Kill Devil Hills, NC

KILL DEVIL HILLS, NC (WWBT) -

A two-alarm fire has burned down a beach front condominium in Kill Devil Hills in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  The complex was completely burned to the ground. 

According to Dana Harris with the Kill Devil Hills Police Department, crews responded just before 7 p.m. to Seven C's Condominiums on Route 12 around mile marker 7.5.

Police said only one of the condos was being rented out at the time and its three occupants got out without injuries.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
