Tonight at 5: Texting while driving bill, new nightclub ordinance, property problems

A deadly crash on Route 7 in northern Virginia has one family pushing to change the law concerning texting while driving. Rachel DePompa investigates the new bill in the General Assembly that would make using a handheld device for something other than verbal communication a crime punishable by jail time.

City nightclubs may soon have more rules to follow. An ordinance passed by Richmond's planning commission today would use zoning districts and permits to regulate the clubs. Laura Geller is live at City Hall with the details.

Neighbors in Chesterfield's Ambergate neighborhood say they've had enough of the property next door. They say its owner just isn't maintaining it.

Here's the catch - the property is owned by Chesterfield County!
