RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
People who need cash in a hurry might turn to a payday loan center or a precious metals dealer. Chesterfield County wants to put stiff regulations on where these businesses can operate.
The county wants to be business friendly, but before it votes on a plan , county leaders want to hear from you.
According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, there will be a public meeting on payday loans this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the board of supervisors meeting.
