Missing Gloucester man has Richmond connections

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Police are looking for new clues in the case of missing Gloucester man with ties to Richmond.

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Ben Coffey has been missing since New Years Day. Coffey's family is from Richmond.

His family tells the paper that last they heard from Ben's whereabouts when he was visiting a friend in Richmond on New Years Eve.

Both his family and police are worried because Coffey's van was discovered in Tappahannock. The Times-Dispatch reports that police discovered Coffey's dog, his keys, his cell phone and some cash inside the van.
