Week 17 has come and gone, leaving the regular season for the NFL a distant memory, and the playoffs are starting in just a couple days. Ticket prices are surprisingly low to go see these games, even though there are a lot of intriguing match ups according to Whiztix.com

The 2012 regular season has come and gone for most football fans. Except for 12 lucky teams, this season ended in utter disappointment. Week 1 of the NFL postseason is finally here, and it’s leading off with some great and extremely intriguing games. There is a division match up, and also three or four teams that at the beginning of the season few people could have expected to win nearly as many games as they did. With all these factors suggesting extreme excitement among fan bases, the ticket prices are surprisingly low. According to whiztix.com, Green Bay Packers tickets this week for a playoff division match up are only $110 dollars currently including broker fees. This is not all that much more than a regular season ticket would cost to see the Pack play at Lambeau. In fact most regular season games saw much higher prices on the resale market, just to get in the door. In week 16 vs the Titans, the cheapest tickets were selling for over this price.
The Redskins who are hosting a playoff game for the first time since 1999, have tickets that are even cheaper for sale. According to Whiztix, Washington Redskins tickets this week are starting at approximately $102 dollars. This is extremely surprising because for last Sundays final regular season game against the Cowboys, Whiztix reports tickets were selling for over $250 at the cheapest. For this weeks game according to Whiztix Co-founder Adam Taxin, “If you buy tickets for this weeks game, and spend as much as the cheapest tickets cost for week 17 to see the Redskins, you can sit at about midfield on the lower level currently."
The other two games have very similar prices according to Whiztix. Currently to get into the stadium in Houston, seats are going for only $100. Baltimore Ravens Tickets cost the most this week surprisingly sitting at approximately $114.
