
Residents in Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, and Prince George County no longer have to worry about mandatory water restrictions.
The Appomattox River Water Authority asked the localities to lift the mandatory water restrictions put in place on August 8.
The Lake Chesdin Reservoir once again was full, as of December 27, according to the Authority. Still, it's asking users to continue to conserve water, as the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality has Lake Chesdin under a precipitation warning and ground water and reservoir levels watches.
Drought conditions are expected to continue over the next three months, though some improvements are expected, according to the NOAA.
No word yet from Petersburg or Colonial Heights.
