
The new U.S. Congress will be sworn in Thursday at noon. The 113th Congress will take its oath with 56 new democrats, 38 new republicans, and a record number of women.
Among the newly elected members is Virginia's newest Senator Tim Kaine. Kaine is scheduled to arrive at the U.S. Capitol Thursday morning along with two fellow Virginia democrats, Senators Jim Webb and Mark Warner.
John Boehner's expected to be re-elected Speaker of the House. He's already announced the first order of business: a vote tomorrow to provide billions to victims of Superstorm Sandy.
